AutoCAD / Revit Technician

We are currently looking for a Digital Engineering Technician in the Garswood area to support our growing Digital Engineering team. This is a fantastic role to join the team dedicated to supporting the engineering team’s use of digital tools (AutoCAD, Revit etc). Key Responsibilities

  • Software knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit to create and maintain accurate CAD and Revit content (blocks, templates, families etc) for use in Engineering Designs.
  • Technical understanding and use of multiple software formats (for example .dwg, .rvt, .ifc, .nwf etc) to aid in the continual growth of content libraries for use in Engineering Designs.
  • Assist the Senior Technicians and Engineers in the delivery of the Digital Strategy
  • Follow Digital Engineering procedures and store documents and files in accordance with our Information Management System.
  • Collaborate with various functions of the business to assist with individual project proposals through research, innovation and digital content creation.
  • Keep up to date with new design trends/techniques to enhance product knowledge of the core design suites (Autodesk Suite) to aid in the efficiency of engineering design solutions, greater automation and new technologies.
  • Assist in queries submitted through the Digital Engineering helpdesk.

What You Need

  • HNC or equivalent in relevant STEM field (HND preferred)

  • Experience of working in AutoCAD and Revit (Experienced user preferred)

  • Experience of content creation in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

  • A keen eye for detail
