Banu Ergin Canozkan

Banu Ergin Canozkan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Banu began their career at Qualcomm Telecommunications as a Marketing Analyst in 2002. Banu then worked at JPMorgan Chase as a Marketing Specialist, where they were responsible for promotional activities and business process analysis.

In 2004, Banu joined Akbank as an Assistant Manager in the Customer Segmentation Management Department, focusing on affluent customers. Their responsibilities included product and market development, strategic planning, and competitive assessment.

From 2006 to 2010, Banu worked at DIGITURK as a Product Manager, overseeing brand strategies for thematic channels and leading marketing projects for new TV technologies. Banu successfully managed the product life cycle and collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.

In 2010, Banu joined Turk Telekom as an IPTV Product Development Supervisor. Banu played a key role in designing, creating, and marketing the company's IPTV and webtv products under the brand name 'tivibu.' Banu also conducted market research, analyzed competitor strategies, and developed product roadmaps.

Since 2011, Banu has been working at Macademia as the Senior Director, GM Turkey, and MENA Business Lead. Macademia is an award-winning global EdTech company that focuses on educational programming and games for children. Banu oversees the Istanbul office and leads the business operations in the MENA region.

Throughout their career, Banu has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and marketing skills. Banu has a proven track record in product development, brand management, and customer-focused research.

Banu Ergin Canozkan obtained their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Boğaziçi University from 1996 to 2000. Banu then pursued higher education and completed their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Management from San Diego State University from 2000 to 2002.
