Brent Timmerman

Brent Timmerman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and leadership roles. Brent is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at MacDon Industries since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked for the Government of Manitoba, where they held several positions, including Assistant Deputy Minister for Capital Projects Planning and Delivery from April 2020 to May 2022. Brent also served as the Process Improvement Lead for the COVID Testing Task Force and the Vaccine Implementation Task Force. Before their tenure with the government, Brent Timmerman held key positions at StandardAero, including Director of Engineering and Director of the Project Management Office. Overall, Brent Timmerman has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and extensive experience in operations, process improvement, and project management.

Brent Timmerman received their education from the University of Manitoba. Brent obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1994 to 1998. Prior to their university education, Brent attended Silver Heights Collegiate, but no degree information or years of attendance were provided. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brent has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Brent achieved the Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) certification from Engineers and Geoscientists Manitoba in January 1999. In June 2009, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Lastly, in December 2017, Brent obtained the Lean Black Belt Certification from Lean Sensei International.
