Yaprak Baltacioglu

Yaprak Baltacioglu, C.M., is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in governance and public policy. Currently serving as an Independent Director at Deloitte Canada and Chile, Chancellor at Carleton University, Director at CSA Group, and Director and Chair of the Compensation and HR Committee at MDA, Baltacioglu is recognized for strategic leadership in various sectors. Additional roles include Director and Chair of the Strategy Committee at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Distinguished Fellow at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and Board Member and Chair of the Human Resources Committee at the Stratford Festival. Previous advisory experience includes working as a Strategic Advisor at Compass Rose and as a Director and Chair of the Governance and HR Committee at Hydro Ottawa. Education includes a Master of Arts from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Laws from Istanbul University.
