Steve then moved on to Marchex, Inc as the Director of Facilities, overseeing facility operations. At Community Health Plan, Avvo, and McKinstry, they served as a Facilities Manager, responsible for managing daily operations at various locations. Steve also worked as a Management Consultant at Rainier Seeds, where they partnered with a team for marketing and sales planning. Steve Barker obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Shoreline Community College, where they studied from 1983 to 1986. More recently, in 2021, they completed the course "Guy Kawasaki on Turning Life Wisdom into Business Success" offered by LinkedIn.
