Emilene Reisdorfer

Emilene Reisdorfer currently serves as the Interim Associate Dean and Associate Professor at MacEwan University, a position held since July 2021, following roles as Assistant Professor and a diverse teaching background at Centennial College from August 2018 to June 2021. Emilene also holds the position of Vice President and Board Member at the Society of Internationally Educated Nurses in North America from August 2023 to June 2025. Prior experience includes nursing roles at Sienna Senior Living and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Emilene’s academic qualifications are extensive, including a PhD in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the Universidade de São Paulo and multiple postdoctoral fellowships in Nursing Education and Research.
