Gustaf Åkerman

Gustaf Åkerman is an experienced investment manager and portfolio manager at Sony, overseeing investments in entertainment and DeepTech startups across Europe since January 2020. In addition to managing overall investments, Åkerman leads the portfolio management for multiple companies, including Gridly, M-XR, ATLANT 3D, machinations.io, Katoid, Cyanite.ai, KIT-AR, Reach Industries, and SERG Technologies, all contributing to Sony's strategic growth in these sectors. Åkerman holds a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Lund University School of Economics and Management, a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business and Management from Aston Business School, and has completed an International Master Class in Entrepreneurship at Grenoble Ecole de Management.
