Lisa Thiergart

Lisa Thiergart is a seasoned researcher in AI safety and governance, currently serving as a Research Manager at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, where Lisa oversees an 18-person research department focused on technical AI safety and governance. Previous roles include Independent AI Safety Researcher at the Stanford Existential Risks Initiative, where exploration centered on Mechanistic Interpretability, and Independent Researcher/Entrepreneur in Residence at Entrepreneur First, co-developing NeuroTech-based Interpretability Tools.
