Declan Shafi

Declan Shafi has been working in the software engineering field since 2020. In 2020, they were an Intern Software Engineer at Robotical. In 2021, they were an Intern Software Engineer at StarLeaf, where they integrated the Sentry crash reporting system into their Android mobile app as part of the 'special projects' team, both in the Java frontend and the C backend. In 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Darktrace. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Machine Medicine.

Declan Shafi attended St Paul's RC Academy in Dundee from 2013 to 2019. Declan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
