Jorge Martinez-Flores has extensive work experience in various industries. Jorge began their career at IIMAS, where they served as a Research Associate and worked on projects involving parallel processing and image digitization. Jorge later joined Otis Elevator Co., where they held the positions of Sr. EE and Project Team Leader. During their time at Otis, they developed a solid state soft starter and worked on variable frequency drives for AC induction motors. Jorge also participated in an international drive business assessment. Jorge then moved on to Delphi Diesel Systems, where they served as a Project Manager. Jorge led the GM-NA Epsilon Body Control Module program and implemented cost saving initiatives. At Nidec Motors and Actuators, they worked as a Program Manager and was responsible for project quotes, new motor design projects, and production changes for tier-1 customers. Currently, Jorge is working at Mack Technologies as a Program Manager.

Jorge Martinez-Flores has a diverse educational background spanning several years. Jorge obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) between 1979 and 1984. Following this, Jorge pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Digital Signal Processing at the University College of North Wales from 1985 to 1987. In 2012, they furthered their education by achieving certification as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Program Management Institute (PMI), demonstrating their expertise in project management.
