Waldo Fourie

Waldo Fourie is an experienced professional in the maritime industry, serving as the Managing Director for both Mackay Marine South Africa and Dynamic Marine South Africa since September 2020. Previously, Waldo held the position of President at the Hydrographic Society of South Africa from March 2019 to June 2023. Waldo's extensive background includes roles as Managing Director and Operations Director at Dynamic Marine Systems (Pty) Ltd from January 2016 to September 2020, and Divisional Director - Maritime & Military at Unique Hydra (Pty) Ltd for a brief period in 2015. With a later tenure as Marine Director at Unique Hydra (Pty) Ltd from 2007 to 2015, and Technical Manager for the Marine Service Division at PERTEC (Pty) Ltd from 1997 to 2007, Waldo has developed significant expertise in technical management and marine services. Early in the career, Waldo served as a Weapons Electrical Officer in the South African Navy from 1993 to 1997 and completed an education at Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 1991 to 1993.
