Michael Depalma

Michael DePalma is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in fixed income and global credit strategies. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Fixed Income at MacKay Shields LLC since April 2019, DePalma is also a Senior Portfolio Manager and previously held the position of Managing Director - Global Credit. Prior to this role, DePalma was the CEO/CIO at PhaseCapital LP from March 2016 to March 2019, focusing on Credit and Global Macro Strategies. DePalma's career at AllianceBernstein spanned from January 1991 to 2016, where positions included CIO of Global Fixed Income, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Analyst/Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income. DePalma holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics/Operations Research from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University.
