Dhanisha Patel

Dhanisha Patel, MHI, currently serves as the Director of Clinical Informatics at Mackenzie Health since March 2016, where prior roles included EMR Clinical Applications Manager and EMR Application Lead for EpicCare Inpatient Orders. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Analyst at the University Health Network, and practicum and volunteer roles at St. Michael's Hospital. Dhanisha co-founded the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) while serving as Coordinator from January 2011 to April 2012. Educational background comprises a Masters of Health Informatics from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Health Informatics from York University, and a Bachelor of Science, Honours in Biology from McMaster University.
