Ban Qu

Ban Qu is a skilled data professional with extensive experience in data science and client relationship management. Currently serving as a Senior Client Relationship Representative at Mackenzie Investments since October 2022, Ban previously completed a Fellowship in Data Science at Springboard, which involved over 550 hours of project-based curriculum, mentorship, and hands-on capstone projects. As a Data Science Intern at the University at Buffalo, Ban developed a machine learning model that significantly reduced manual matching efforts and conducted textual analysis on literature articles. Earlier experience includes working as a Data Analyst at Newton International College, where Ban improved operational efficiency and student admission rates through data-driven insights. Ban holds a Master's degree in Data Science & Applications from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
