Michael Trainor

Michael Trainor currently serves as the Director of People and Culture at MacKillop College Werribee, a position held since January 2024, overseeing the Human Resource functions of the institution. Prior to this role, Michael worked as an Industrial Relations Consultant at Scope (Aust) and held various positions at Possability, including Director of People & Culture from December 2021 to September 2023, where support was provided to individuals with disabilities. Michael's extensive experience in human resources includes serving as Human Resources Manager for Catholic Education Ballarat, supporting 58 schools and approximately 2,300 employees. Previous roles at St John of God Health Care and positions at Mt Alexander Shire Council and Castlemaine Health further solidified expertise in HR management. Michael holds a Masters of Theological Studies from Catholic Theological College, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from Australian Catholic University, and a Bachelor of Human Resources Management from Federation University Australia.
