Amy Werner

Amy Werner is a Collection Management Specialist Librarian at Mackin Educational Resources since July 2018, where responsibilities include collaborating with K-12 school librarians to evaluate and recommend improvements for library collections, as well as curating lists of materials for curricular and fiction needs. Prior experience includes roles as a Media and Technology Assistant at Independent School District 199, managing library systems and supporting educational technology, and a Catalog Intern at Minnesota State Services for the Blind, focusing on cataloging audio and braille book records. Earlier, Amy served as a Deaf-Blind Intervener at Independent School District 917, supporting students with diverse needs through tailored educational strategies. Academic qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in ASL/Interpreting, both from St. Catherine University.
