Wayne ..wool

Wayne Wool is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in underground mining operations and safety management. Currently serving as Mine Superintendent at Macmahon since February 2024, Wayne previously worked as Mine Foreman and Development Supervisor at Pit N Portal from January 2021 to February 2024. Prior to that, Wayne held the position of UG Mine Superintendent at Syama Gold Mine and Resolute Mining Limited from December 2015 to April 2020, overseeing all underground mining activities and emphasizing safety and efficient mining practices. Earlier roles include Construction/Superintendent at EJ Sisters Construction Limited in Papua New Guinea, Operations Manager at India AAC Mining Contractors, and Development Superintendent at Barrick Gold Corporation from 2002 to June 2014, where Wayne focused on safety and mentoring. Wayne completed Grade 10 at Charleville State High School in 1973.
