Matt Chadwell

Matt Chadwell is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in various engineering and management roles. Currently serving as Superintendent of Mine Services at South32 since October 2023, Matt previously held positions at Nevada Gold Mines as a Senior Mine Engineer and Underground Mine Engineer from January 2021 to October 2023. Prior to that, Matt was the Nevada Operations Manager at Hoffman Manufacturing, Inc. from November 2018 to January 2021 and co-owned Bristlecone Bikes from August 2016 to September 2019. Matt's career began at Newmont Mining Corporation, where roles included Long Range Ventilation, Short Range Ventilation, Short Range Design, Short Range Planner, Drill and Blast Design, and UG Surveyor from October 2008 to November 2018.
