Josh Bone

Josh Bone has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Josh is currently working as a Principal Gifts Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Philanthropy at Global Canopy from July 2022 to October 2022. Before joining Global Canopy, Josh worked at Dogs Trust, where they held multiple roles including Principal Gift Manager, Philanthropy Manager, and Philanthropy Officer between 2017 and 2022. Josh also has experience in development and fundraising as a Development Executive at The Outward Bound Trust from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, Josh was a Partnership Officer at Macmillan Cancer Support from 2015 to 2016. Josh founded Ron Bone Art, a start-up business focusing on art sales, and managed it from 2013 to 2015. Josh gained experience in volunteer recruitment and event management as a Sports Events and Project Management Intern at Cancer Research UK in 2012. Josh started their career as a Visitor Services Assistant at the Roman Baths Museum in Bath & North East Somerset Council from 2009 to 2010.

Josh Bone attended Kingswood School in Bath from 2002 to 2009, where they completed their A levels. Josh then pursued a BA degree in Geography from the University of Exeter from 2010 to 2013.
