Brian Banister

Bryan Banister has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Brian is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Macmillan Learning since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Engineering from 2020 to April 2022, and Director of Engineering from February 2018 to 2020 at the same company.

Before joining Macmillan Learning, Banister worked at Periscope, powered by mdf commerce, where they were the Director of Engineering, R&D from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, they served as a Development Manager, R&D from 2012 to 2017, and as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead from 2009 to 2012.

Earlier in their career, Banister worked at Momentum Software, Inc. as a Software Engineering Consultant from 2005 to 2009, and at RealVue Simulation Technologies as a Software Developer III from 2003 to 2005.

Brian'scareer started at PointServe, where they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst / Project QA Lead from 2000 to 2002.

Brian Banister completed their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Brian accomplished this educational milestone in the year 2002.
