Melvia Nelson is an experienced mental health professional with a career spanning over three decades in various roles. Currently serving as a Behavior Health Specialist at MacNeal Hospital since September 2005, Melvia has previously worked as a Crisis Worker at Presence Health/St. Mary of Nazareth from September 1991 to May 2005 and as a Milieu Therapist at Loretto Hospital from December 1984 to January 1991. Melvia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rosary College, which was completed between 1979 and 1983.
