Paul McGovern, a Chartered MCIPD, has a diverse and extensive work experience starting in 1998. Paul began their career as a Graduate Trainee at Exel and went on to hold various roles including Logistics & Transport Manager, Export Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Planning Manager. In 2002, they joined Scottish & Newcastle where they served as Distribution Support Manager and later took on the role of Employee Communications Manager. McGovern then moved to Heineken UK in 2009, where they worked as HR Business Partner, Head of HR Supply chain, and ultimately Head of HR. From 2015 to 2023, they held multiple roles at Edrington, including Head of HR for The Macallan and subsequently Global Supply Chain. In July 2023, McGovern joined Macphie UK as the Head of Human Resources. Throughout their career, they have successfully led organizational transformations, implemented change initiatives, and developed people strategies to support the overall vision and mission of the companies they worked for.

Paul McGovern - Chartered MCIPD has a strong educational background in logistics, materials, and supply chain management, along with public administration and management. Paul completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration & Management at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Logistics from the same university, which they completed in 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Paul McGovern - Chartered MCIPD has obtained the certification of Chartered MCIPD from the CIPD in May 2023. This certification further enhances their professional expertise and demonstrates their commitment to staying current in the field.
