Amit Kapoor

Amit Kapoor is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Division Director and Global Head of Listed Derivatives Technology at Macquarie Group since May 2014. In this role, Amit has successfully led a comprehensive transformation program, modernizing trading platforms for the Exchange Traded Derivatives business. Prior to this, Amit was the Head of Equities Technology Australia at Nomura, where responsibilities included the migration of the Australian Equities Execution platform and overseeing Futures & Options Technology for the APAC region. Amit's experience also includes significant roles at JPMorgan Chase and Cognizant Technology Solutions, focusing on trading systems development and market data integration. Amit holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Pune University, completed between 1995 and 2001.
