Daniel Kim

Daniel Kim, CFA, currently serves as Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of RMBS and CLO at Macquarie Group since July 2023. Previously, Daniel held the position of Managing Director and Head of RMBS Research at Wellington Management from October 2008 to June 2023, where oversight included $13 billion in RMBS AUM and participation in a group managing $50 billion across various securitized credit products. Earlier career roles included Vice President at Bear Stearns, focusing on securitized products, and research and trading responsibilities at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. Daniel's foundational experience also includes work as a Fixed Income Risk Analyst at Credit Suisse and as a Senior Officer at Scotiabank. Daniel holds an MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a B. Comm from The University of British Columbia.
