Garrett Pickering

Garrett Pickering is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Global Head of Threat Detection and Defense at Macquarie Group since May 2014. Previously, Garrett held various positions at Macquarie, including Cyber Threat Head of Operations and Defense and Vice President Cyber Threat Analyst. Prior experience includes roles as a Security Analyst II at Westlake Chemical and multiple positions at Alert Logic, where Garrett focused on network security analysis and incident response. Garrett began the career as a Network Security Intern at Encore Discovery Solutions and holds a Bachelor of Science in Network Security from the University of Advancing Technology.
