Oliver Thiel

Oliver Thiel is an experienced Director of Digital Transformation at Macquarie Group, specializing in large-scale transformation initiatives utilizing Human Centred Design, Lean Business Architecture, and Agile methodologies since February 2016. Previously, Thiel served as a Management Consultant focused on business improvement strategies at Macquarie, and at Partners in Performance, where Oliver drove sustainable bottom line improvements for diverse clients. Thiel's earlier roles include advising clients on operations strategy and Lean transformation at IBM Australia and serving as Senior Manager in Group Controlling at Otto Group. With a solid foundation in strategy consulting from Oliver Wyman and early banking experience from Dresdner Bank, Thiel holds degrees from the University of St.Gallen, The London School of Economics, and HEC Paris.
