Gavin Kawalsky

Gavin Kawalsky is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various roles. Their most recent position was as the Head of Projects for Data Centres at Macquarie Technology Group since April 2020. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager of Global Operations at Sunnylife and held several director-level positions, such as Director of Wholesale in Asia Pacific and Director of Wholesale in EMEA. Gavin also served as the Chief Operating Officer at TETRAN Pty Limited and held multiple roles at Macquarie Telecom, including General Manager of Hosting Operations and Program Manager. Additionally, they co-founded and managed BlueFire Corporation, where they served as the Director of Operations. Gavin has extensive experience in project management, operations, and business development.

Gavin Kawalsky pursued their education in a chronological order. In 1993, they enrolled at UNSW and completed a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Civil Engineering in 1996. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Gavin attended AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). Following this, in 2006, Gavin sought certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2010, they pursued Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from UTS. Finally, in 2011, Gavin acquired ITIL Certification from APM Group.
