Nicole Gower

Nicole Gower joined Macquarie University as Director of Human Resources in October 2014 and is now Vice-President, People and Services. She is an experienced executive with specialisation in Human Resources, Organisational Change, Technology, Law and Corporate Services. Her industry specialisations include Higher Education, Financial Services (particularly superannuation) and Professional Services. Nicole currently serves on the Board of UniSuper Limited (Director) and U@MQ, a controlled entity of Macquarie University (Chairperson). She is the Executive Group sponsor for several strategic University initiatives including the Gender Equity Strategy, UniForum benchmarking and several streams of the University’s Operating Plan. She holds a BA/LLB (Hons) from the University of Technology, Sydney. Nicole is also an accredited mediator and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
