Mustafa Chowdhury

Mustafa Chowdhury has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Mustafa is currently working as the Chief Rates Strategist at Macro Hive since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at MBAC Global Advisors LLC from 2019 to 2023. Mustafa also served as a Managing Director at Voya Investment Management (formerly ING Investments) from 2014 to 2019, where they held various responsibilities including Head of G-10 Rates, FX, and Macro, as well as Manager of the Global Bond Fund. Before that, Mustafa held managing director positions at BlueCrest Capital Management, Deutsche Bank, and Bear Stearns. Mustafa began their career at Freddie Mac as the Co-Head of Asset Liability Management from 1994 to 2003. Mustafa's academic background includes working as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Louisiana State University from 1988 to 1994.

Mustafa Chowdhury earned a Ph.D. in Economics from UC San Diego, where they studied from 1983 to 1988.
