Brian McCrindle is an experienced machine learning engineer with a focus on decentralized protein folding and various applications of machine learning in both research and engineering contexts. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Macrocosmos, Brian has previously worked at the Opentensor Foundation and Parallel Domain, where contributions included generative modeling, 2D/3D object detection, and data visualization tools. Brian's background also includes roles at Solid State AI, concentrating on physics-informed deep learning and anomaly detection in manufacturing, and at L3Harris Technologies, where advanced electro-optical technologies were a focus. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision from McMaster University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics.
