Michael Egery

Michael Egery has extensive work experience in engineering and software development roles. Michael is currently the VP of Engineering at MacroHealth since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Stellar Labs, Inc. from February 2020 to November 2022, and Director of Engineering from June 2019 to February 2020. Before joining Stellar Labs, Inc., they worked as a Software Development Manager at Amazon from October 2016 to June 2019. Michael also served as the Director of Engineering at CA Technologies from June 2016 to October 2016 and as the Manager of Software Engineering from June 2013 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, they held various roles including Software Development Manager, Development Team Lead, and Senior Developer at Layer 7 Technologies from May 2005 to June 2013. Michael began their career as a Senior Analyst - Business Systems at HSBC from May 2004 to April 2005. Michael also worked as a Software Engineer at Incognito Software Inc. from January 2002 to April 2004.

Michael Egery attended Charles P. Allen from 1988 to 1992, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Michael then went on to Simon Fraser University, where they obtained a B.Sc in biochemistry from 1992 to 1997. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Simon Fraser University again and obtained another B.Sc, this time in computer science.
