Brian Jackson

Brian Jackson is the Senior Project Manager at MACRO. Prior to joining MACRO, Jackson was the Restaurant Manager/Beverage Manager at Sofrito from September 2006 to September 2007. While at Sofrito, Jackson was responsible for managing both the needs of the restaurant and bar, maintaining bar inventory and ordering, creating cocktails and devised pricing, hiring and training FOH staff, and coordinating private parties and special events. Jackson was also responsible for enforcing standard operation procedures and managing the restaurant floor to ensure guests were getting the best experience possible. During their time at Sofrito, Jackson managed beverage inventory and reduced liquor cost by 10%, maintaining beverage cost between 24-27%. Jackson also improved service standards through staff training, development and awareness.

Prior to their time at Sofrito, Jackson was the General Manager at Waterstone Grill from July 2005 to August 2006. As General Manager at Waterstone Grill, Jackson oversaw day-to-day operations of a restaurant in the financial district that generated over $2 million in yearly revenue. Their responsibilities included hiring and training staff, coordinating private parties and special events, maintaining restaurant and beverage inventory, and enforcing standard operation procedures. During their time at Waterstone Grill, Jackson conducted profit & loss analysis, implemented bottle service procedures, and managed all FOH and BOH procedures.

Brian Jackson has a certification from the Fitwel Certification System as a Fitwel Ambassador. Brian also has a certification from BRE in BREEAM AP. Brian is certified by the USGBC in LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD+C). Brian is also certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) & OSHA as an Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor. In addition, they are certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Lead Renovators. Brian is also certified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in Mold Inspection & Assessment. And finally, they have an OSHA 30 Hour Construction Certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
