Heidi Kassel Fritz has a diverse and extensive work experience. Heidi started their career at Target in 2006 as a Merchandise Planning and Sourcing Analyst, where they managed inventory ownership, product allocation, and instocks for the Home category. Heidi also coached vendors and collaborated with QA to improve testing and on-time shipment. After that, Heidi became a Merchandise Planning Manager for Lawn and Patio, where they led a team of analysts and was responsible for inventory and profit planning. Heidi then moved on to become a Buyer for Maternity Apparel, focusing on maximizing the core business and expanding into a second brand offering. During this role, they developed a marketing plan to capitalize on a competitor's exit from the market. Heidi's next position at Target was as an Apparel Buyer, where they reinvented the Girls License business, leading to significant sales and margin growth. In 2017, they joined Hybrid Apparel as the Director of Design and Strategy. Finally, in 2018, Heidi became the Director of Strategy at Mad Engine Global, LLC., and later assumed the role of Vice President of Retail Strategy.
