Chathura Ratnayake

Chathura Ratnayake is the SVP of Engineering at Mad Mobile. Chathura has over 18 years of experience in IT and has spent the last 8 years in leadership roles. Chathura has a proven track record in driving results and improving operational efficiencies.

Prior to joining Mad Mobile, Chathura was the VP of Operations at CAKE Corporation where they led a team of 150+ employees across three geographic locations. Chathura was responsible for streamlining and automating processes, driving a results-based organization towards proactive solutions and operational excellence.

In their previous role as VP of Engineering at Sysco Labs, Chathura was responsible for leading engineering and technology teams and transforming the digital customer experience. Chathura oversaw a team of 110+ software engineers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers in two locations. Under Chathura's leadership, the team was able to successfully improve the customer experience journey by implementing new on-boarding, shopping, inventory, delivery, and reporting features.

Before their leadership roles at CAKE Corporation and Sysco Labs, Chathura spent two years as a program manager at Monvia LLC and six years as a project manager at Millennium Information Technologies. Chathura has a proven history of successful project management and delivering results.

Chathura holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing.
