Asfuq Azam

Asfuq Azam has over 25 years of work experience in various industries. Asfuq currently serves as the Head of Business Development at MADA®, where they lead the department in driving revenue growth and market expansion. Asfuq conducts market analysis, develops new markets, and establishes relationships with international partners.

Previously, Asfuq was the General Manager at ATXnet Limited, where they transformed the company and generated an annual revenue of USD 1.2M within three years. Asfuq also led business development and managed recruitment and operations.

Asfuq has also held the position of Head of Sales & Marketing at IPTEC South Sudan, where they boosted ISP revenue growth and supervised the sales and marketing team. As a Sr. Project Manager at Robi Axiata Limited, they successfully managed projects and collaborated with stakeholders and vendors.

Additionally, Asfuq has experience as the Head of Sales & Marketing at BRACNet Limited, where they led sales and marketing activities, developed strategic plans, and managed the sales team. Asfuq also served as Deputy General Manager, Business Development at CPM Group, where they managed the sales and business team and executed sales strategies for IT solutions.

Early in their career, Asfuq worked as an Instructor in ESL & IT at Training Centres.

Asfuq Azam has a diverse education history. In 1994, they completed a Master's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. Asfuq then proceeded to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in the same field from the same university between 1991 and 1994. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education in General Science at Carmichael College Rangpur, Bangladesh.

Asfuq also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2002, they obtained a diploma in Education with a specialization in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Grameen Star Education Bangladesh. In 2003, they obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft, including "2154B & 1561B: Implementing Administering and Designing Microsoft Windows Directory Services," "2153B & 2126B: Implementing and Managing Microsoft Windows Network Infrastructure and Environment," and "2151B & 2152C: Microsoft Windows Network and OS Essentials & Implementing Windows Professional & Server." Asfuq also earned a CompTIA A+ certification from Desktop Computer Service in the same year. In 2014, they obtained several certifications from Riverbed Technology, including "Riverbed Sales Associate," "Riverbed Sales Specialist," and "Riverbed Technical Sales Associate." Additionally, in 2002, they earned the NACSE Senior Network Specialist/Engineer (NSNS/NSNE) certification from Grameenphone Star Education.
