Michael Hansen

Michael Hansen serves as the Chief Operating Officer at MadaLuxe Group since May 2021. Prior to this role, Michael was a Strategic Advisor at CVS Health in 2021 and Head of BJ's Wholesale Club Optical at BJ's Wholesale Club from 2019 to 2021. Michael's experience includes serving as President Retail at VSP Global (2013-2014) and General Manager (SVP) at EssilorLuxottica from 2011 to 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing strategic environments and operations in Brazil. A notable achievement was leading the luxury and sun division retail at Sunglass Hut from 2001 to 2011, where Michael co-led a $900 million business and significantly drove sales growth. Earlier career experience includes serving as the AVP of the High End Group at LensCrafters from 1999 to 2001. Educational credentials include degrees from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Truman State University.
