Dr Sremmant Basu

Dr. Sremmant Basu currently serves as Professor and Dean of Administration, International Relations & UGC Affairs at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science since October 2016. With over 34 years of leadership experience in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior across various sectors, Dr. Basu has held significant positions including General Manager Works at Everest Industries Ltd and Senior Vice President & Group Head of Human Resources for a Singapore-based MNC covering India and Southeast Asia. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Spentex Industries Ltd, General Manager of Human Resources at BILT/Solaris ChemTech Avantha Group, and Personnel Manager at Eternit Everest Ltd. Dr. Basu holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, as well as an MBA in HR & Marketing from the Indian Institute Of Social Welfare and Business Management and a PGDPM & IR in Human Resources Management from the Xavier Institute of Social Service.
