About Maddox + You

We’re hiring an Employee Development Coordinator to lead orientation and training initiatives, design educational content, and facilitate employee development across the organization. While this role has a particular focus on new employee orientation, you’ll also collaborate with management from each department to develop and deliver training for all staff of all levels.

More about You:
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and Facilitate Training Workshops: 
    • Plan, execute, and follow up on training sessions to enhance employees' skills and knowledge. This includes preparing materials and occasionally delivering the training content.
  • Host New Employee Onboarding and Orientation Sessions: 
    • Conduct comprehensive orientation sessions for new hires to familiarize them with company culture, policies, and workflow to ensure smooth integration with the team.
  • Identify and Address Training Needs: 
    • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs, communication gaps, and opportunities for employee growth. 
    • Implement programs and strategies to address these areas.
  • Develop and Deliver Training Content: 
    • Create engaging, relevant training modules and materials tailored to the company's needs. 
    • This involves content creation, updating existing materials, and staying informed about best practices in adult learning.

Experience & Education:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Proven experience in a training or development role, ideally within a corporate setting.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience with designing and delivering both digital and in-person training sessions.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

Basics:

  • Schedule: This is a full-time (40-hour/week) position on a 5-day schedule.
  • Location: This is an on-site (not remote) position in our Battle Ground, Washington office, and may include a limited amount of travel to different sites for workshops.

Pay: Starting range with bonus: $60k-$80k annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
