James Thorne

James Thorne has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. James is currently the Warehousing & Returns Director at MADE.COM, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Operations & Projects Director at Evans Cycles from June 2017 to 2021. James also held the position of Supply Chain Director at Foodbuy UK & Ireland from April 2016 to June 2017. Before that, they worked as a Supply Chain Director at Compass Group UK & Ireland from 2014 to 2016. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the Head of Supply at Compass Group UK & Ireland. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Comet, including General Manager - Merchandising & Store Development, Supply Chain Development Controller, Supply Controller, and Retail Projects Manager. James started their professional career as a Business Analysis Manager at Kingfisher plc. James began their career as a Consultant at EY and worked there from September 1992 to January 1996.

James Thorne attended the University of Cambridge from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained an MEng degree in Engineering.
