To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a Planning function leader, reporting to our SVP of Operations. This role is based in our Austin, TX headquarters and oversees both inventory and demand planning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Planning function including demand and inventory planning as well as vendor coordination to review forecasts

  • Own and optimize the in-stock rate and inventory turns metrics for finished goods and raw materials

  • Set the strategy for the Planning function to achieve business goals and implement processes to help achieve these goals

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Web, and Sales teams to review and approve the 12-month rolling demand plan

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with our manufacturers for production forecast review and manage the timeline for shipments of requested shipments

  • Report out to the business on planning assumptions, risks to supply and opportunities to increase sales of over-stocked assortments

  • Oversee the continual improvement of our planning analytics and demand / purchasing software capabilities

  • Conduct long term planning exercises to model growth scenarios on inventory and manufacturing growth

  • Help identify and implement analytics in Netsuite and Looker data environment to automate processes and track KPIs

Who You Are:

You’re a curious, creative, and analytical thinker who’s passionate about making an impact on an organization. You have proven experience in a highly-analytical, planning role and experience calculating reorder points and in-stock metrics. You operate well independently but are not afraid to ask for help when needed, and have a bias to implement and test solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in a highly-analytical role

  • Excellence in mathematics

  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects

  • Experience with demand and inventory planning analytics

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required

  • Experience analyzing large sets of data using software such as Python or SQL and / or systems such as Netsuite or other planning systems

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

 Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

  • You know your way around a kitchen, and enjoy the cooking / food scene!

  • Experience with Netsuite, Looker, Celigo and / or AWS

  • Background / academic experience with statistics, operations research or other math-intensive field
