Jill Lucas is an experienced professional in the field of nutrition and program management, currently serving as the Founder of Nutrient Nutter since December 2015. Additionally, Jill has been a Program Leader and Volunteer at Made In Hackney since August 2018. Previous roles include Senior Specialist with the Catering Team at ESS SUPPORT SERVICES WORLD WIDE and Head Nutritionist for the Jon Venus Team. Jill's varied experience also includes positions as Kitchen Camp Supervisor for Refugee Calais Kitchens and Field Officer at the Nepali Technical Assistance Group. Earlier in the career, Jill served as Camp Base Manager with All Hands Volunteers, Manager at Shrijanshil Children’s Protection Center, and held managerial and nutritionist responsibilities at Healing Health Centre and NutriCentre. Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Bournemouth University, obtained in June 2011.

Made In Hackney offers free community classes for people most in need such as low-income families, children in care, teen carers, young people excluded from school, and people suffering from diet-related health problems, and paid for Masterclasses, through its Program, privately, and through Corporate organizations, to support the funding of itscommunity work. It teaches vital food growing, cooking, and composting skills. Its seasonal, plant-based program covers everything from basic cookery skills to sugar-free baking, preserving, composting, foraging, and making own cosmetics.Made In Hackney was established in 2011 and is headquartered in London, England.
