Nishma Shah is a seasoned plant-based food educator, cookery tutor, trainer, and chef with extensive experience in various roles related to vegan cuisine. Since October 2005, Nishma has worked with Shambhu's and VegfestUK, transitioning from a vegan caterer to a cookery demonstrator and host, delivering numerous demonstrations, including a popular series titled "Spice it up!" showcased on a YouTube channel. Nishma has also served as a tutor for plant-based cookery and nutrition for both Harrow and Enfield councils, focusing on hands-on courses for teenagers and young adults. Additionally, Nishma has contributed to community events through the Oshwal Association of the UK, executing a well-received online vegan cookery demonstration, and conducted a cookery demonstration at the Eden Project, creating dishes using fresh produce from their gardens.

Made In Hackney offers free community classes for people most in need such as low-income families, children in care, teen carers, young people excluded from school, and people suffering from diet-related health problems, and paid for Masterclasses, through its Program, privately, and through Corporate organizations, to support the funding of itscommunity work. It teaches vital food growing, cooking, and composting skills. Its seasonal, plant-based program covers everything from basic cookery skills to sugar-free baking, preserving, composting, foraging, and making own cosmetics.Made In Hackney was established in 2011 and is headquartered in London, England.
