April Dawson

April Dawson's work experience includes a role as an Associate Software Engineer at Made Tech starting in November 2022, and a previous role as an Academy Software Engineer at the same company from May 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they worked in the Civil Service Fast Stream, starting in October 2019, where they held various roles such as Civil Service Fast Stream - Digital, Data, Technology and Cyber from October 2021 to June 2022, and Civil Service Fast Stream - Government Communications Service from October 2019 to September 2021. April also worked as a Business Analyst at the Department for Education from October 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, they had roles at the Department of Health and Social Care, including Marketing Campaigns Manager from April 2021 to September 2021, and Media Relations Officer from October 2020 to March 2021. Additionally, they worked at the Cabinet Office as a Project Manager from April 2020 to September 2020, where they managed the Communications Industry Support Initiative. April Dawson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from UCL, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. From 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Leading Strategic Communications from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Prior to their university studies, April attended Newstead Wood School from 2012 to 2014, where they completed their A Levels.
