Lauren Brown

Lauren Brown has a diverse work experience. Lauren began their career in 2018 as a News Reporter for Cougar Chronicle. In 2019, they worked as an IT Help Desk Technician for IITS at California State University San Marcos, and as an IT Help Desk Technician for USS-Admin (Formerly SAIT, Student Affairs IT) at the University of Oregon. In 2020, they were a Fact-Checking Editor, Writer, and Fact-Checker for Ethos Magazine. In 2021, they were a Project Coordinator, Magazine Coordinator, and Made Trade Magazine Summer Editorial Intern for Made Trade, a Copy Editor for Oregon Daily Emerald, and a News Reporter for Duck TV. Additionally, they were a MediaWise Campus Correspondent for the Poynter Institute.

Lauren Brown has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Oregon and the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, as well as a Communications degree from California State University San Marcos in Communication and Media Studies.
