Courtney Hunt

VP, Head of Design at Made Renovation

Courtney Hunt has a diverse range of work experience in the architecture and design field. Courtney started their career as a Designer at David M. Schwarz Architects in 2004. Courtney then worked as an Architect at James K.M. Cheng Architects Inc. and Grimshaw in 2007 and 2012, respectively. In 2013, they joined Foster + Partners as an Architect. Courtney also co-founded Organelle Design in 2007.

Courtney later transitioned into the role of a Teacher at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2011 to 2013. Courtney then joined WeWork, where they held multiple positions, including Architect, Director of Design for the US and Canada, West, and Senior Director of Global Head of Design Strategy. During their time at WeWork, they were responsible for overseeing expansion, managing a team, and developing design standards.

After their tenure at WeWork, Courtney joined Made Renovation as the Head of Design, where they led a team of designers, architects, and technologists. Their responsibilities included overseeing product development and design services execution. Currently, they are a Member at Chief, a company they joined in 2022.

Courtney Hunt, RA has pursued a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Environmental Design from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, they attended Bard College for their undergraduate studies. Courtney Hunt completed their high school education at Mclean High School.
