Travis Vanderstad

Travis Vanderstad is currently a software engineer at MadHive. Prior to that, they worked as a software engineer at Google from November 2018 to February 2020. There, they improved visibility and testability of data pipelines for network telemetry by adding precondition/postcondition validations, data liveness signals, monitoring, and alerting. Travis also conducted algorithms interviews. Before Google, Travis worked as a data engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from March 2018 to September 2018. There, they implemented a microservice data pipeline to analyze infrastructure data for datacenter capacity planning. Prior to JPMorgan Chase & Co., Travis worked at Bridgewater Associates from September 2016 to November 2017 as a technology associate. There, they improved visibility and testability of automated trading systems by implementing a transparency framework and integration testing framework. Travis also implemented authorization, authentication, and performant SQL schema and partition scheme.

Travis Vanderstad earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
