Director - Forecasting And Optimization at Madison Gas and Electric Company

Chris Ivanov has a diverse range of work experience in the energy and technology sectors. Chris began their career at Renaissance Learning as a Marketing Analyst, where they utilized Excel and SQL to generate reports and track sales and consumer trends. Chris then joined WPPI Energy as a Rates and Forecast Analyst, where they conducted economic analysis, load forecasting, and financial forecasting. In 2007, Chris moved to Power System Engineering, where they served as a Leader in DSM & Load Forecasting, managing teams and providing consulting services to electric utilities. Chris'sresponsibilities included business development, financial accountability, and developing forecasts to support system plans. Chris later joined Madison Gas and Electric as a Lead Predictive Intelligence Analyst, then progressed to roles such as Business Integration Manager and Manager of Forecasting and Optimization, overseeing teams and producing revenue and sales forecasts for both the electric and gas sides of the company. In their current position as Director of Forecasting and Optimization, Chris continues to contribute their expertise in forecasting and optimization strategies to benefit the company.

Chris Ivanov completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Affairs at Marquette University from 1999 to 2003. Chris pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics for the academic year 2003-2004. Later, from 2007 to 2010, Chris attended Edgewood College and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, General.
