Githua Ngaruiya

Githua Ngaruiya is the Managing Director of Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited at Madison Group. Prior to this, they were the Financial Controller at General Motors East Africa from September 2011 to August 2015. There, they were responsible for formulating and effecting internal financial control strategies and policies, preparing financial reports in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS), and managing the installation of SAP ERP system.

Ngaruiya has also served as the General Manager Parts & Accessories at Isuzu East Africa from August 2017 to May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the parts and accessories business for Isuzu East Africa.

Ngaruiya is a certified public accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi.

Githua Ngaruiya has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from Strathmore University, a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Computer Science from Ohio University, and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB). Githua also has a CPA - USA from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and a Lean Six Sigma Certification (White Belt & Yellow Belt) from General Motors International Operations in Shanghai, China.

They are on a team with Serafina Wairimu - Group Human Resources Manager, Ann Miano - Group Company Secretary, and Patrick Muturi - Group Financial Controller. Their manager is Samuel G. Ngaruiya, Chairman & Managing Director. Josephat Muthwii - Underwriting Manager, Gregory Kamau - Chief Accountant, and Francis Miano - Head of Ordinary Life Business report to Githua Ngaruiya.
