Mark Plyler

Mark Plyler is an experienced engineering professional with a significant background in product engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Product Engineering at Madix, Inc. since April 2019, Mark provides corporate-wide leadership in Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance across multiple facilities. Prior to this role, Mark worked at Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company from May 2006 to October 2018, holding titles such as Engineering Manager and Project Engineer, where responsibilities included supervising a diverse team, monitoring KPIs, and leading project design teams. Mark's career began at Knox Kershaw Inc. as a Design Engineer, specializing in customized machinery for the railroad sector, following an academic foundation with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering from Auburn University.
