Michael Stuart has over 15 years of experience in human resources and benefits management. Michael most recently served as the Director of People Strategy at MadTree Brewing Company, where they were responsible for advocating for employees, guiding company culture, and developing people. Michael has also held various roles at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, including Director of Benefits, Manager of Benefits, and HR Consultant, where they were responsible for managing benefit programs, vendor relationships, and strategic consultation on employee benefit plans. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Generalist at Transcon Employment Company/Innovative Employer Solutions. Michael has a strong background in employee benefits, compliance, and strategic planning.
Michael Stuart began their education at the University of Cincinnati in 1998, majoring in Psychology with a focus on Personnel & Industrial Relations. Michael obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2003. After a gap of a few years, they enrolled at The Wharton School and pursued a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications, including Leading Through Change, Emotional Intelligence, Leader as Coach, and Becoming Conflict Competent, all from the Accelerator™ Program Powered by ICC, Inc. Michael also holds a CEBS certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.
